Born in the vibrant city of Bogotá, Colombia, in 1988, Oriana Cardona embraced her artistic identity under the pseudonym Oriana Loladolores. Her journey as an artist is a testament to her passion for creative expression and cultural exploration.
In 2010, Oriana Cardona founded the "Buseta Collective," an art collective in Bogotá, marking her foray into the world of collaborative art. This initiative laid the foundation for her career as an artist and her commitment to community-driven creative endeavors.
Oriana's insatiable curiosity led her to Paris VIII University, where she pursued a master's degree in "International Media, Culture, and Foreign Society." The rich tapestry of Parisian culture provided her with the perfect backdrop for artistic exploration.
Her artistic journey began early, with her first exhibition, "Expressions," held at the age of 17 for the "Achote" association in Bogotá. Oriana also actively participated in various artistic events of different scales, demonstrating her dedication to honing her craft.
In 2009, Oriana's talent was recognized when she participated in the "Dreams Short" short film competition, organized by the "Alliance Française de Bogotá." She received the prestigious "Recognition of the Public" award, setting the stage for her future achievements.
Paris became a significant chapter in Oriana's artistic evolution. In 2016, she held her first exhibition in the heart of the city at the Colombian restaurant Mukura. In 2018, her art graced the famous Montmartre neighborhood in the space known as "Le Dessous de Montmartre."
Notably, 2020 marked the beginning of an exciting collaboration with the renowned Parisian coffee shop, La Cafeotheque. Oriana's talent extended to designing coffee packaging, creating a unique visual identity for each blend. Her art was not only an exhibition but also a part of the daily ritual of coffee lovers.
The pinnacle of Oriana's career came in 2022 when she held her most important exhibition at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre. Her work was showcased at the "Art-Shoping" event, and her painting captivated art enthusiasts for three unforgettable days.
In September 2023, Oriana continued to expand her international presence by exhibiting four paintings in Barcelona, Spain, at the renowned Galerie Arteria. This marked another milestone in her journey to share her art with a global audience.
Her talent has garnered recognition worldwide, with her work featured in the Australian illustration book "Capsulesbook" in 2021. Additionally, Oriana's art and story found a place in the art and culture magazine "Artistcloseup" in 2022.
